Duties
Responsible for design, development, customization, testing, and maintenance of Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (“BRM”) System.
Implementing Agile Technology; tuning the code and SQL queries performance.
Performing infrastructure-related activities such as scripting/automation for setting up environments/testing automation/reporting automation.
Analyzing billing issues including handling functional issues with understanding of E2E impact
Debugging customized releases of Oracle BRM and Projectwerx (internal tracking and online software.
Debugging includes development and testing
SQL queries for the Oracle DataBase, modifying scripts (perl scripts, batch scripts, shell scripts), to C code analysis and modifications, executing updates in the system's configuration and helping setting up price list configurations for POC's in potential projects.
Troubleshoot any problem that may happen during the software execution acting as a part of the BRM support team.
Complete analysis of the possible solutions using e development environment, code the solution with emphasis on performance on the system.
Reproduce identified bugs and insues and analyse
Code solutions from analysis and deliver the fixes to QA and UAT.
Analyze requirements and investigate on the Oracle support website
Create task lists for the Production System Support people to deliver system changes, monitor delivered system changes
DUTIES
Education
A bachelor's degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component
Experience or post-secondary credential in BRM software programming
Experience
3 years of experience in information technology with a preference in the telecommunication domain
3 years of experience troubleshooting, debugging and customizing Oracle BRM software
Skills & Ability
Ability to troubleshoot, debug and customize Oracle BRM software
Ability to perform SQL queries in the Oracle DataBase and fix performance issues
Coding and automation and scripting
During interview process Employee with speak with Manager of Technology to ensure they are proficient in the skills required for the position
