The Telecom Tower Climber/Tech, is responsible for performing installations and servicing of telecommunications equipment, tower climbing, servicing, and construction at heights of up to 500 feet. You will also be working on antenna installations and alignments, radio and networking equipment installations, configurations, and troubleshooting and fiber termination and splicing.
Responsibilities:
Performing the installation and servicing of telecommunications equipment
Tower climbing, servicing, and construction at heights of up to 500 feet
Structured Cabling
Antenna installations and alignment
Configuration of telecommunication hardware
Fiber termination and splicing
Apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver viable solutions
Requirements:
1-3 Experience working on communication towers
Experience in Telecommunications industry with post-secondary in technology
Construction experience
Able and willing to work out of town
Able and willing to work at heights of up to 500 feet
Valid Driver's License with a Driver's Abstract
OSHA Certified and current
Current First Aid, CPR
